Stinky pipes!

So today after a spirited ride, I noticed that when I got out of the car I could smell a rotten egg or sulfur smell coming from the exhaust. This isn't the first time I've noticed the smell after getting on her a bit. Any ideas on what could be causing it? I only run premium in the car and nothing appears to be melted on the exhaust. Anyone else notice this or am I just the lucky one. It's actually pungent enough that I can smell it from 5 feet away from the car.

J/k. +1 for test pipes or HFCs. Unless you ran over a plastic bag or something and it stuck to your exhaust.

I know I'm going to get boo'ed for this but the car is bone stock. It's an 08 sport with about 21K on it. I've only had the car for about a month now. It only seems to smell after I get on it for a bit. Just cruising I can't smell it at all. I can't visibly see anything melted on but it's hard telling. I don't see any smoke either. I can't really explain it other than a sulfur smell. I believe before I bought it, the car sat a fair amount. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. Should I be thinking about taking it to the dealership or let it ride for a bit. Of course with it being a "new" car to me, I'm super paranoid about everything. Maybe part of it is my OCD, but even my wife has noticed the smell.

Breftayka-- The smell does remind my wife of the "Temple of doom"!!!!

Is this something that is going to be covered under warranty? Is it worth trying to run a cleaner through it?

LMAO @ Temple of Doom.

Yeah take it in. It will be covered if you are stock. You haven't noticed a power decrease or anything though?

Maybe a squirrel took refuge in your muffler, while it was on the lot, and is paying the price now.
