I agree most of the posts here that you should still report to the police after gotten some info from the poster in craigslist but it's really new to me that wheel lock can be remove that easily...I was going to get one..
took 30seconds per wheel lock.
if i had universal wheel key, would be even easier/quicker lol
damn that sux.. i've seen this crap a few times around my neighborhood. a few G coupes on the blocks. wheel locks are definitely useless like ppl have said. at least its one extra step they have to take b4 they get ur wheels.
sorry guys, but wheel locks are useless. Install a shock sensor instead. That will be money went spent.
I came across a craigslist ad posted at 7:49am that morning, that listed for sale, my exact wheels!! The guy was asking for $800 for the entire set of 4 rims and 4 tires! These were the 18" 5 double-spoke Sport Rims and original tires from a 3-month old 2011 G37xS! Retail for these tires and rims is about $4k and change.
Of course the cops cant do anything about it because how do I prove they are mine?!

neeto; maybe because you've never spent time working patrol, or cases...
but stolen rims are on the bottom of the list. every employee in any field must prioritize his job.
RIMS... are not as important. its just a fact of life.
let not be immature, or bash a whole career field.

Get an alarm with a tilt sensor that can detect when your car his being lifted. Or at the least add the impact sensor to your factory alarm. I thought this was mainly a coupe issue though. Wow that sucks a**.
oh ****, time to get wheel locks on my coupe, i skipped the $100 wheel locks from the stealership cuz it was just plain unnecessary then. I can name at least 4 cars with much better rims on my block than my stock S 19s.
