I agree most of the posts here that you should still report to the police after gotten some info from the poster in craigslist but it's really new to me that wheel lock can be remove that easily...I was going to get one..

took 30seconds per wheel lock.
if i had universal wheel key, would be even easier/quicker lol

This is a photo of the locks i took off in 30seconds with a chisel and hammer]

the chisel and hammer is one way. Banging a slightly larger socket into the bolt, and changing the shape is another way.
sorry guys, but wheel locks are useless. Install a shock sensor instead. That will be money went spent.

Of course the cops cant do anything about it because how do I prove they are mine?!
I wouldve called him, met him asked him where he got those wheels. I know I have a few marks on my wheels that automatically give them away as mine.

RIMS... are not as important. its just a fact of life.
let not be immature, or bash a whole career field.
Exactly why street justice is needed. Police is only there to respond after the fact. Even on serious crimes, you won't get help from the police until after you're bleeding to death on the sidewalk. And even then nothing will most likely won't happen.

Police officers here in Queens NY are too busy giving out traffic tickets.

Get an alarm with a tilt sensor that can detect when your car his being lifted. Or at the least add the impact sensor to your factory alarm. I thought this was mainly a coupe issue though. Wow that sucks a**.

oh ****, time to get wheel locks on my coupe, i skipped the $100 wheel locks from the stealership cuz it was just plain unnecessary then. I can name at least 4 cars with much better rims on my block than my stock S 19s.
