Value of 08 G37s -

So I was doing some research online and came across MB of Freehold, NJ. I inquired about their process of appraising a car within seconds. So I gave it whirl, put mine and the car's credentials and they told me it could be from 25K - 28.5K. MB of Edison, where I've gotten all of the Benzes from, told me right off the bat before even seeing it that they'd give me 22K for it. I walked out of there so fast, you have no idea..

So back to MBF, I get a call from a SA there and he tells me he could get the $28.5K for my car. Now seeing my payoff is 31K, I'm thinkin I should take it because it's the best price figure I've gotten yet.

Its 1K over what Edison Infiniti was offering and i was even jumping into another Infiniti! OR IS IT A SCAM TO GET ME TO COME IN THERE AND THEY"LL END UP LOWBALLING ME THINKING IM TRULY DESPERATE TO RID THIS VEHICLE?

give us some info on your car...coupe obviously...g37s obviously...how many miles?

28.5 sounds like a very good price for an 08 g37s...I bought mine a year back for 29ish...and thats me paying for it, not the dealer...so thats a good price, good luck.

Really? That's what these cars are trading in for? Pepe infiniti in Westchester offered me $24k.

2008S with everything but technology, sticker 43+ 22k miles..

**EDIT** Sorry OP, didn't mean to thread jack..

28.5 is a good price for trade in. I know your car is fully loaded but what's the mileage on the car? You should do it if you don't want the car anymore. But why do you want to get rid of it anyway?

Gotta be to get you in there, and then they will change. If not it's a great deal for you. I paid less than that with 30k miles Coupe S 6MT Premium after taxes! With completely clean car fax. You telling me I could almost make a profit?

Yea, sorry about that fellas, crucial info I know but I have 19,256 miles on the car. Clean carfax, and they might take about $500 for the curb rash prolly but still, looking like it's a good deal so I'm going to entertain the proposal Saturday when I meet the guy face to face.

Breftayka - I'm leaning towards this as well. My luck isn't all that good but hey it doesnt hurt to inquire.

G37SBS - I wanna get rid of it because of the incessant creaking, rattles in and out of the car yet the dealer mysteriously can't identify but it's clear as day. I've gone to the sales manager at Ray Catena Infiniti and he's like dude, you're here more than I am and I'm like yea I know. I effin hate this place now lol.

Plus this is my second G coupe and I think it's worn out the welcome. The styling of the new 5 series doesn't do it for me, nothing special while E makes me do a second take...

If he bought it in '08 for 44k and took a 72 month payment plan, then 31k by now is about right since on such term loan you're basically paying off interest on the first 3 years.

Makes even more sense now. But if it's a lease then you don't "owe" 31k. You owe nothing on the car. When does your lease ends?

If its a lease, and its almost over, why not just finish out the lease? It may cost you less depending on your lease terms.
