Rusting under the car

Rusting under the car

when i'm standing behind my car i can see some rusting underneath...i don't know what i'm looking at but i know its not my mufflers....does that happen with all g37s? and is there anything to do to get rid of it?

Here is the underside of my car when it was 1 week old and less than 300 miles.

I had something similar on my car as well... I also was a little worried when I first saw it, but I guess its notrmal. Do you live close to a shore?

My car is also showing similar rust patterns, and just because it happens on lot of cars doesn't mean it's "normal". Rust is rust. It will cause problems later on down the road. I'm especially concerned about rusting on the rear differential. In the picture, it shows the edge of the differential housing and the right axle with rust. Is this covered by the rust warranty?

The rust warranty is for perforation, not surface rust. However, I will be crawling under my car soon.
