I'm considering the following lease for later this afternoon:

2011 Infiniti G37 Coupe Journey with Premium Package
$3000 down including the first month's payment
$350 + tax for 23 months after

Is this a good deal considering it is just for 24 months?

Any input would be appreciated as I am planning on pulling the trigger on this in a few hours.

 

How many miles are included in the lease and what is the per mile overage charge?

If you can stay within the mileage, it sounds pretty good. $11,000 plus tax for two years of operation. That's comparable if not better than the expected depreciation over the period.

 

Sorry forgot to mention. 10,000 miles annually. I only live 4-5 miles from work so I think that should be more than enough.

 

I don't get it why the down payment for a lease. Otherwise sounds good to me.

 

imo it is a decent deal. i was offered 350 plus tax a few months back with $2000 down (but it was for 39 mos) for 15k mi per year. i think considering that it is before the new year you could maybe squeeze them for a bit more. in the end i decided to own the car, so i bought one: best decision i ever made.
