New to me, 2008 G37S manual (question).

Hi guys, I've had this car a for a month now and I'm liking it pretty much so far. I am however having a problem with the nav unit. I went in for the most part and deleted all of the owners previous history (Florida). Well, for some odd reason when I choose destination, then input the address in the screen it never recognizances the city that I am in. For instance, if I try to enter Rosenberg Texas when I'm entering the route(house number then city) after I type the letters Rosen it auto completes giving me all sorts of suggestions, but nothing saying Rosenbeg Texas. It does the same thing when I try to input addresses in Houston (it finds AL, FL, etc but no Texas!) Is there any way I can turn off the auto complete feature? What I find strange is it will recognize where I am at and locate businesses nearby but why in the world can it not locate any address in Texas when manually entered. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, and here is a chitty picture of my car.

Lets say I wanted to go to Minute Maid park. The address is 501 Crawford St, Houston, Tx 77002. Well, after I enter the house number (501) I input the street (Crawford). It will then give me suggestions for that street but not give me the actual street! If I try to bypass the street and put in the city is autocompletes only to give me suggestion of Houston, (FL), (AL), TN, etc.) Very frustrating. Can anyone try putting this address in and if you get it to work (actually start you on a route) please tell me the steps you used. I would like to know if this is user error or an actual problem. Thanks.

You have to go into your Nav settings and change the region, it is currently on the south eastern i bet and you want southern. Then it'll recognize those places, more than likely
