In all honesty...for what purpose? In a gtr or lambo....yea its completely useable when you're making almost 500 whp. But for our cars....that dont even make 300 whp in stock form....if you cant launch these cars, not to mention the progressive throttle of this car anyway, then well you just need to learn how to launch haha. You think guys with 650 whp vettes have a launch control?? Maybe a line lock, but thats about it. The only launch control you need is the "driver mod"

Yeah...actually they do lol. If you're serious about drag racing, then a 2 step is a pretty straightforward and early mod. Now, it makes a WHOLE lot more sense on a boosted application since it can help you build boost (when you add in a bit of ign retard) but for consistency off the line it is helpful. Our cars can spin the tires off the line and thats what you're trying to minimize - you maximize traction and thus 60' times right at the limit of tire slip.

That said...I doubt the OP is a serious drag racer since he had to post this in the first place and called it "launch control"....but wanted to just throw it out there that its a plausible tool at the 300 whp mark.

OP, google "stutter box" or "2 step rev limit". There are numerous devices you can use besides going thru the ECU.
