Stopped by the Infiniti delaership yesterday and saw a used 2007 G35, till i walked to the back and saw a Nissan badge above the words SKYLINE. It also had Nissan logos on the center rims. There was also a 350-GT Badge on the trunck lid right corner. Yet, it had Infiniti logos in the front grill and seats. I'm kinda new w/ this stuff but how can one tell if its real or just badging? They were asking 20K.

well if your kinda new to this stuff...just wanted to let you know that allot of these guys from the "states", swap out their infiniti badges for nissan ones, all the time. the dealer should have an invoice of that car, that would state if that car is originally from japan or what not. tell them to show you the car-fox...I mean the carfax!V.I.N. numbers don't lie (most of the time).

 

Left hand drive and Infiniti logos means it's an Infiniti.

 

It's just been partially rebadged. Most of the guys who rebadge an Infiniti as a Nissan don't go all the way and do things like have the seat embroidery redone, the airbag cover, etc. Trust me, it's not a JDM Skyline or you'd know. Just some dude who though it was cool to swap out some of the Infiniti logos for Nissan ones.

 

Yea, my guess is that its just a debagde... its funny how i wanna go USDM and you guys wanna go JDM hehe..
