Probably. My cluster lid was last replaced around August, the top of the lid looks to be the same construction as before.

Looks like the lids are available on ebay if warranties have expired...not cheap:

Hey guys,

If anyone can find that TSB that would be greatful. I searched: INFINITI G37 COUPE Technical Service Bulletin ID:17730 - For INFINITI G37 COUPE and couldn't find anything.

Is there another website? Also, that cracking sound would be great if it was a TSB! That way I can shove it in the dealerships face and make them fix it once and for all.

So should I call up my dealer and have them fix it? It's still under warranty. This is what mine look like.

That's how mine looked too. Take it to the dealer. They fixed it and gave me a loaner car!

In my experience, whenever something is taken apart by a dealer, there is a chance for something else going wrong. It's hard to duplicate the factory fit. My steering wheel column plastics (by the paddles) had to be replaced after each lid replacement because they were damaged. Now the back of my steering wheel plastic sometimes rubs up on those plastics and makes a grinding noise.

A TSB should be released, so far, I haven't seen one. Since this happens to all G37's, dealers are aware of the replacement fix.

That's why i'm so scared to take it to the dealer.. The peeling don't really bother me but the tapping noise will ..

Haven't seen a TSB yet, but an updated part should be built that uses clips (at a minimum) to hold the lid together. The EX35 is designed this way.
This seems to be a recurring trend with these Cars. Infiniti doesn't seem to care much about fit and finish. All they care about is moving cars off the lots and dealing with all the pieces they cheap out on later... Since when do $40k cars get out of a factory with popping windshields, warping interior pieces, rattling mufflers, warping rotors, chattering clutches... list goes on...

Don't mean to jack the thread but this is related....

For those that have a popping noise in the dash - windshield interface there is a TSB for this and it does fix the problem. I don't know the TSB number.
