Big Issue with Dealer

Sorry to rant but I want to know what people think I should do here.

Two weeks ago I left my car for it's first service oil change and what not, in addition to a problem with water coming into my tweeters due to a piece of crap rubber piece which had to change on my previous model. So one week later I go back to pick up my car and as usual I inspect the car for damage. Low and behold, there was a quarter size door ding on my drivers side door by the handle which also took off paint. I was so pissed but for some reason calm about it after the service guy told me to leave it to get fixed. Fast forward to today and I go back to have the car picked up. When I get there I notice the door isn't 100% and looks half *** done. I immediately go inspect my Vossen wheels to find that my rear driver side rim has rash!!! So now I'm extremely upset and told the that morons work there because obviuosly nobody knows how to drive. I am going to call and speak to the manager tomorrow since he had already left after I got there. My door has overspray all on the side of the door panel so you can tell it was repainted and the clear protective stripping (I forget the name) was removed and not replaced. Let's just say that they did a crappy job on repairing the door.

Now what do you guys think I should do?? I did make the mistake and left with my car only because the dealer is an hour away and I have been driving a POS loaner and it's been roughly 3 weeks. Anyhow the service guy and my previous salesmen were there when I discovered the damage. I think they should redo my door and fix my wheel since that's not how I left them my car and I expect to get it back the same way.

Did you have them document or at least acknowledge and admit the damage before you left?

sucks but you are at the mercy of the dealer. explain the situation to the manager, better if you do it in person and hope for the best.

The service dept was closed so there was no way of documenting anything the service guy acknowledge there was damage to the rim as it could easily be felt and seen but nothing formal due to them being closed. He said he couldn't do anything but to call the service manager the next day.

You think Infiniti consumer affairs would do anything? I wonder how many people have these issues....

Wow that sucks... But either way my door was a half *** job so they are going to have to answer to that part at a minimum.

I would be pissed like everyone else here.
If dealer screwed something up they should do what they can do resolve your issue to your satisfaction. The problem here is that they performed such ****ty job that might have been better to left it alone.

I think that you should do what you said you would to do is to escalate to manager. If you don't get any results, then escalate to owner. Then, contact Infinite customer service for assistance, and then last resort would be small claims court.

I just hope that they don't pull the bs about me taking my car with the damage to my wheel cause clearly I have already gone several times and I don't think it's right that I pay my monthly lease $$$ to drive a loaner especially when they messed up big time.
