I've had mine since the beginning of December and I walk out to it every day and smile. I'd absolutely get another one.

If they had put a turbo or SC on the IPL, I'd be posting pics of my new one right now.

(I say this as mine is at the dealership trying to find a phantom water leak problem)

My 09' G37S has 12k miles on it now and I've had no problems with it's overall performance or reliability, but I don't think I would get another. The seatbelt digs into my neck, the clutch is not well designed, and the audio sysem requires a full stop in order to browse my stored music. Perhaps in a year or two I'll be looking into a certified used 2009 or newer Porsche 911. I took one out for a test drive and that is one well designed car.

yes, but not before a thorough test drive and making sure none of the problems I currently have are on the new car. I know where and how to look for them on mine...

Hmmm my G doesn't need me to stop to browse my music. I can browse playlist, artistic, songs, etc while I am driving at the same time. Maybe they changed it on the newer model.

Simple answer ---- NO. I bought the car new in 08. Think I will replace with new Range Rover Sport or X5.
1. Steering wheel peels.
2. Leather easily stains and wears.
3. Wheels easily damaged with tire changes (Sport model)
4. Dealer support very poor.
5. Has to be driven with high revs to feel the power.
6. Poor head room if you are 6.0 or taller.
7. OEM tires are too soft (replaced with general and had 3 times more life out of them)
8. Brakes squeak when reversing.
Sad but true!

How so? I just got mine a couple of weeks ago and it seems like I might have made a mistake. My dealer seems pretty cool but then again I just bought a car and haven't bitched about anything.

For the current used sports coupe market I think it's a best bang for buck. Gas mileage sucks but other then that it's a great car.

Ha! Gas Mileage was one of the biggest selling posts for me to get this car. I wanted a S5 or C63.... Now that mileage sucks.

I didn't read a single comment that was posted before me because they are irrelevant. Yes. I would without a doubt buy another G37 Sport Coupe.

If they still made G37's I would definitely buy another in the future, but I'm really not feeling the Q50 thing. V6 badge on the side makes me want to puke. WTF does Q50 mean anyways?

And about the whole bmw owners getting stereotyped thing... It's true. If you are under thirty and you own a bmw, it's highly likely you're a ****ing douchebag of some sort. There are of course exceptions to every stereotype, but remember, no stereotype would ever exist if it weren't true at some point. I highly recommend you all listen to a song called "BMW Man" by Local H.
