Yeah, I was thinking the pictures probably don't do it justice...just like the current models. One picture makes it look like the bumper protrudes yet another doesn't. Plus, the camera seems to be pretty close to the ground instead of eye-height.
Also, go to the site and use "download" to get the higher resolution photos.

Now that I see the big brakes are included with the sports package on the x, I'm pretty sure I'm going to upgrade ... if I can get a decent deal.

 

Seems like most on this thread generally agree that the minor changes made are not for the better. I just hope Infiniti does not continue to make these mistakes when it comes to the BIG redesign coming in the next few years.

I just saw a new QX56 on the road the other day and that thing is FUGLY!
Looks like a Scion xB mated with a FX35 and their offspring had gigantism.

Anyways, I'm glad the 2012 is ugly. Makes me love my 2008 more!
And to think that I was thinking of doing a 2012 front conversion because of the foglights .... no thanks.


If somebody can photoshop the pics and put a nice drop and nice wheels on it. There's gotta be a way.

 

Call me crazy, but after downloading the pictures from nissan site, and blowing up the pictures via photoshop, I actually really like the 2011 g37s. The rims need to be zoomed in on to get the detail, and I don't think they are bad at all..I think they are unique and styled.. and the front bumper looks good once seen in high res...Id say it looks really good.

First look at a small picture leaves a lot to be desired, but once you view HIGH Res pictures of the detail, I think it's very stylish and good looking, and yes, the rims look good too. My lease is up on my '08 G37s in 2/11, and I will be leasing a 2011 g37s black/black.

 

The new QX56 is awesome. Infiniti seems to have finally settled on a unified design language.

I gotta disagree.....I, too, think the new QX56 is absolutely ugly. Infiniti is really letting me down in the design department lately (except for the M). This just makes me yearn more and more to see the 2012 BMW 3 series redesign.....I have a gut feeling I might wander to the Bavarian dark side if the new 3 series is as hot as they're saying it's gonna be......decisions....

The bumper is okay I guess if you get used to it, but the rims are a step down, too many spokes imo.

 

Looks like the IPL aero kit will coverup that front facsia pretty well the IPL is also growing on me, except for the rear. Would rather have the IPL bodykit and current splashguards in rear to be honest. Don't think you can though because of the sidesills

 

I don't understand how it seems as if there's more research and development going into the nissan side and not the higher end Infiniti? Is there something wrong here???

Looks like the convertible is actually going to be lower than the previous one.

 

Does anyone know when they're going to show the car in more colors?? I heard october 2nd, is that true/does that make sense at all??
