LOL. The lip on the front bumper doesn't stick out. Theres a dark reflection above it thats making it look like it does. If you go to Nissannews.com and blow this pic up, you can see its flush with the rest of the bumper. But I have to admit, based on the pics posted in this thread I had a "WTF Infiniti!?!?!" moment. But the wheels are a step down compared to the 08-10 Sports!
(WHY!?!?! Why is Infiniti stepping away from deep center wheels on the G!?!?! Did the same to the Sedan. This is not a Sporty design!!!)
I think the New bumper will actually be on par with the current car. Nissan/Infiniti UTTERLY SUX at taking pictures of their cars so I say wait to see it in person for judgment or 3rd party pics.

Not sure how you can't see it...even in the side profile picture you posted. It sticks out like a horizontal fang protruding out of a mouth. Horrible, just horrible.
infiniti could've gone safe and created a bland/conservative look, but with hyundai chasing us with their designs
I don't think they are chasing us more like COPYING US.
They are the only car company I know in existence to rip off every design from every other car manufacturer. It will be a cold day in hell before I gave them any credit.
What's up with their rim selection lately? Their 18" and 19" sport rims are just ugly.
I AGREE... Everything else isn't too bad, somebody said hideous... REALLY?
C'mon, its certainly not that, but I do not care for those wheels at all.
I'm actually at the dealer now getting serviced and am looking at the wheels
on the M56S... Those are some bad *** 20"s man. I think they'd look sick on
my G. Also noticed from those pics that they moved to Yoko Advans instead
of the Bridge Potenza. All in all the car looks good, personally they should
have just added nice fogs in the existing bumper, but the new one isn't bad.
Ugh, those new pics are even worse than the first batch. I don't know what Infiniti was thinking with this new "refresh", but it's blatantly obvious they should've just left well enough alone.
Fortunately my dealer said he shouldn't have any trouble finding me a 2010 with the color combination and option packages I want so instead of waiting on a 2011 looks like I'll be turning in my '08 a few months early and getting a 2010 model.

Hyundai IMO is ****!
that's true - i can virtually name where every body panel on a hyundai came from, in other words, whom they copied. but every fledgling company steals and plagiarizes successful designs; it's almost part n parcel of gaining consumer money.
at the end of the day, i went with the infiniti for obvious reasons, but i can give hyundai credit for appealing to consumers. in a decade or two, im sure we will forget what a crappy brand they used to be.
I like the front, just the wheels and wheel gap ruins it big time!! Cant wait for 2013-2014 new model.. If the new model looks bad i think im done buying infiniti cars.
