The south bound car hit it and kicked it over to my passenger side pillar. The deer was cut into two pieces. The back portion of the deer landed on my lap. Very luck I walked away with only cuts from flying glass. The repair is over $12K as I was told by the insurance company.

1/10 of a second faster, I wouldn't be writing this.

My 649 may work to-night.

I love my car but I am happy to have walked away without any injury. It is just not my time to go as yet.
On the ground is the very back portion of the fawn that I removed from my lap.
The inside of the car was full of broken glass, bone fragments, gut strings, hair and blood. Pieces of venison were stucked to the back windshield. Broken glass and bone fragments scattered all over my hair and inside my shirt. It was bloody.
I am a lucky man to be alive.

OP, glad you made it through OK, good luck on the repairs.
