Weathering

So Santa Barbara gets pretty cold at night, with frequent mist and occasional rain. Might sound like a silly question, but my landlord wants $200/mo to lease the garage and I was wondering if just leaving my new g37s outside with a car cover over it would be enough to keep the vehicle away from any adverse weathering effects.

its a bad idea to put on the cover when car is dirty/dusty. might as well go for the garage

But $200 a month will buy a nice detail job. Couldn't you just get a real nice job done on the paint every couple of months instead. If you are driving the car regularly you will need to have detailing done anyways (waxing, protecting, etc).

exactly. $200 x 12 = $2400. That = a really nice professional detail...4 or 5 times a year!

oh and personally. I'd use a car cover. but i guess theyre only good if you put them on before it rains

Door dings, bird poop, hail, windstorms, UV damage, acid rain, tree sap, punk kids, jealous neighbors.

Garage is staring to sound like a good deal now isn't it haha.
