Urgent! Key fell under battery plate(the plate the battery sits on)

and I have to be at work, and I can't figure out how to remove the battery with that ****ing fuse box in the way. I can take it off its mount but that doesn't get it out of the way...
Since when does a car company make it difficult to remove the battery! Even my old 3000gt had an easy to remove battery and that car was a huge bitch.

Help?

Remove the battery compartment plastic trim around the top by removing about 6 or 7 pins or so with a screwdriver. It will give you more room to remove the battery.

Ever thought about buying one of those magnetic stick? I bet that'll help when you drop stuff in your engine bay next time, just as long as it's metal.

Yeah dude, where was your spare key? Also, if the key was below the battery, would that actually be considered "in the car"? I.e. you can get in, press start, and have the car turn on??? lol
