No, bone stock cars don't come with tint. Some dealerships will do aftermarket tint as part of the deal (my dealership put 20% on for free from the tint shop down the road)
but normal bone stock cars dont come with any kind of tint

it's just glass...there's no UV protection. If you want to protect the interior from UV use something like 303 and/or get tint

I believe the car does come with a really light tint built into the glass. I don't know of any car that comes with completely clear glass. I've also heard that they do make car glass with UV protection.
Some higher end cars actually have a slight greenish tint to the glass and definitely have UV protection in the glass as well. Think Mercedes...
Yeah, it's something like that. I know that my tint guy says he has to compensate for the small amount of tint already in the glass when he has a customer who wants to stay legal with the tint. But that means he has to go with a super light tint, otherwise the tint he applies on top of the tint already in the glass will put the glass over the legal limit here in New York.
I had the front door glass done with 35% tint. I then had them check it with their meter. It read 28%. That is still legal in Florida. I was just curious, since I knew when you put a certain percentage of tinted film on a car window it will read darker, due to the light tint that is already in the stock windows.

But the protective ability of that stock tint (on the G) is about the same as the sunblock ability of tanning oil. You really just need a good Uv protective tint in conjunction with using a leather protector with UV protection in it
Yes the stock glass has a VERY light tint to it (the glass is 'smoked' it's not a tint film of any kind)

You also have to remember that glass doesn't have to be tinted in order to offer UV protection. And the opposite is also true--some aftermarket tint films don't even offer UV protection at all.
I did a little research on this and it seems that the windshield alone typically blocks 98% of UV light, which means it offers about the same level of protection as sunscreen with at least 50 SPF.
