is it normal to have something that looks like a sticker/patch about the size of your palm, on the body of the car, in front of the rear tire on both sides? i don't see it on any pictures of other G37S 6MT...

 

Yes it's OEM clear bra that Infiniti puts on to help with rock chips. Every Infiniti car comes with it.

I peeled mine off but it IS normal to have it on there

I kinda hate those things.. Being that my car is Moonlight White, lately the edges of the clear bra have been turning yellow. It seems to get worst every time I wash it. I use Meguiars soap if that makes any difference.

 

bring it to a shop where they specialize in clear bras and tint. they have better quality films that are almost invisible compared to some cheap stuff out there and wont yellow.

 

Or just take it off...it doesn't really make a difference anyways since it's such a small patch

 

Yeah, I think I might just take it off or get it replaced elsewhere. Stupid Infiniti, we are paying ~45K for a luxury car, yet they give us crappy pieces of clear bra.
