Garage door opener problem?

My G37 coupe (2010) keeps dropping the ability to open/close my garage door. I can re-program and it works fine for a week or so, then drops again. Anyone else had this problem? Only got 2K miles on the car. Any suggestions welcomed.

did you program it using the "learn" mode on the back of the garage opener itself? Since '96 or so garage door openers have "floating" frequencies that change periodically for security reasons.

No, I've never had that problem. I have noticed though that different garage door openers have different ranges you can push the button and it respond. For my current garage, I almost have to be right in front of it for it to work, but the clicker that came with the opener works much further away. At my parent's house, the car can open the door farther away than the clicker....pretty weird.

make sure the car is INSIDE the garage when you program it. ive learned that pulling up to it isnt good enough
