Maybe there was a problem with the formulation of the original and why the 2010 doesnt have it while they worked on it and the 2011s have it.

all you guys who are experience it should take it to the dealer.. like myself.. this has naturally happened and it definitely should be covered by warranty. it ll only get worse

I have the same thing in two spots on my 08 LP...can only see it when very close. Extrememly maticulous as well but haven't taken it to the dealer yet but prob will later on this year. Worried they will screw something else up on my car...

I don't have any problems on my 09 and it has the Scratch Shield paint.

i ended up taking it to the dealer and he buffed it out .. he said it was acid rain and its true it came right out. also i had 2 scuffed front rims and with my tire wheel contract they refinished them and look perfect.. wooohooooooooooo

I havnt hi-speed polshed my car since November last year so I'll do it this weekend for sure! If necessary I'll wet sand it out.

I have this too. 2010 g37x BO. Just noticed it last night. I thought it was rock chip at first but under daylight I can clearly see it's an intact bubble. I will post a pic soon. Taking to dealer in 2 weeks. Love my g but dam paint really is the worst part on the car. My scion tc had a better paint job (but half the hp : )

Pics

You can see it's clearly a bubble (convex) and not a dent as you would expect from rock chip (which would be concave). Anyone had success getting the dealership to take of this under warranty? What do they typically do, would they just sand it down, repaint etc??
