G37 Aero kit...does it actually increase performance at all?

So beyond the visual effects of the 3,600 aero kit (which seems to be divided somewhat) does the aero kit actually add any significant performance value at all? It seems like the front/side sills/rear would just add weight.

Being an aero kit I would assume it does increase the aerodynamics and performance of the G somewhat but to what extent? Are there any stock G tests vs Aero G tests?

The ONLY, let me say again ONLY time you will EVER see a performance difference on ANY car with regard to body kit parts (spoiler, splitter, etc) is when the car is going 120+ MPH.

Below that it's just for looks

I almost LOL'd, but I don't think you know any better. Honestly, I think I can think of a billion other things I'd do with $3,600.

I suggest you go to a track. Aero is very noticeable at highway speeds.

APR Performance - GTC-300 - CFD Data & Analysis

The wing is producing HUNDREDS of pounds of downforce at 80. Subtle changes to aero are very easy to feel on a high-speed highway interchange

Just looking at the aero pieces, I would say it is functional, although the rear's function would be greatly diminished, and possibly completely negated, if you were to go with a cannister style exhaust that doesn't use the lateral muffler(s)

Meeeh maybe the spoiler makes a small difference but for dd who cares. The front has no function. Vents are still fake. If you are considering it I would base the decision on whether you like the way it looks or not.

Each body kit piece nets you 25 rwhp on your butt dyno. Stickers add 10 rwhp each.

I'd rather have my car be faster than it looks than look faster than it is.
