okay this is going to sound stupid...but my friend wanted to see the VQ, so i popped the hood and he started screwing around with stuff. then he knocked off the power steering cap and it fell all the way down into the engine bay. i was absolutely livid because it was the day of my high school graduation and i had to drive to school. anyways...i called the dealer and they said to put foil over the power steering reservoir and rubber band it, which i did. i havent had any problems since, but where the hell can i find a replacement cap?

 

you may be able to find something like that at an auto parts store, but i'd think the dealer could order one.

 

It still might be down there. Remove the plastic cover underneath and you might get lucky.

 

If only there was a place that sold Infiniti parts..... Oh yeah there called dealerships!

 

yeah when i asked the SERVICE MANAGER if they have them the guy said...i dont know what it even looks like man.

i know it says for the tank but close enough where you can just ask for the cap.

 

Go to the parts department and not service. They can look it up and order one and have it shipped to your house.

 

Leave the foil on and write "ARC" on it with a Sharpie.
