It is amazing how much more enjoyable my morning commute is driving the G. After 8 months, I still look forward to driving it each day. I have been fortunate to have some fun cars in the past but overall, I believe this one is the best. The combination of the ride, acceleration, electronic goodies, and the appearance make it one hell of a fun ride! I try to go out for lunch as often as I can just so I can drive it, even if it is nowhere close by.
Totally agree with you, I don't drive to work (except for about once a week to remote data center), but everything you mentioned is spot on. I loved my old scoobie to death, but the above mentioned factors make driving in the G much better experience.

I drive a helluva lot for work ... that's why I'd pick a car like the G to have for a daily driver ... makes your day a little better ...

I do that all the time! Especially when I don't get to drive her, even for just a day. I'll just get in and drive! Can't go too far here in Guam though. I actually take the longer route to work because I like the drive.
