Alot of that drive is coastal... VERY COOL...

I've certainly taken the long, long, long way home a few times.
Best drive I've had so far is an early morning cruise down to Long Beach Island
in NJ, going to visit my cousin for the day. Took County Roads the entire way!
I'm like 93 miles from his place, but now looking for any excuse to go visit...

Today I volunteered to pick up my coworker from the airport, just so I could drive my car.

You should move to Tokyo. Airport here is about 45 miles away from the city.
But the kick *** highway to it... is being closely watched by government revenue generators.

Btw, I hope your coworker didn't have a lot of luggage.

My job is 4 miles from my house. Considering that I only drive about 2,000 miles per year back and forth to work, and that I average about 8,000 miles per year overall, I'd estimate that I do at least 4,000 miles of pleasure driving every year!

3 years ago I gave up my good life in Atlanta, GA. Packed all my stuff and drove 3 days to SJ by myself. Now I'm an IT guy in Silicon Valley.

That's a fun drive. Some nice straights on the I-16. There where I first got pulled over in the 03 sedan and got out of a ticket.

I find excuses to drive to work rather than use the VPN LOL, just to drive the vert a bit more.

Not too many cops on I-16 compare to I-85. My family has a business in Statesboro. I used to drive back to Lawrenceville every week in my G35 sedan.

I thought I was the only one that would do this! At least now I know I'm not crazy! lol. Everyday I get up even if I have no set destination, I get that itch to drive my baby.

Every single chance I get.
Favourite things in order:
1- On and off ramps to the highway
2- Whenever a straightaway opens up
3- Covered parking garages (some days this is number one)
4- Off the lights
So basically, anywhere.

I just finished finals I did that in fact, just last night! I did that with the previous car as well. It's so peaceful...and fun! The only thing that really deters me away from driving - my lack thereof ability to drive my 6MT well

Before I had my wife and kids, I was rarely home because I would always drive around aimlessly once I got out of work or school. I would always make it a point to explore somewhere I haven't been before...even if that involved many extra miles. I still manage to find time for an aimless drive every once in a while...but not as often as I like (especially with the G)!

For me, driving is my "woosaa" (my calming therapy).

It is amazing how much more enjoyable my morning commute is driving the G. After 8 months, I still look forward to driving it each day. I have been fortunate to have some fun cars in the past but overall, I believe this one is the best. The combination of the ride, acceleration, electronic goodies, and the appearance make it one hell of a fun ride! I try to go out for lunch as often as I can just so I can drive it, even if it is nowhere close by.
