Makes you wonder how many of the owner's that have de-badged their cars will put their G37 emblems back on.
I would think that a lot of the G25 owners will take the G25 emblem off.
was considering de-badging this weekend...will reconsider now...
This forums probably not a good place for valid feedback on the viability of a G25, I mean really It's doubtful any enthusiast would be interested in less HP. There are a ton of folks out there however that never get past LOOKS, MILEAGE and RELIABILITY when it comes to picking a car and these are the folks that would go for a G25... and probably never log on here.
My intentions with this thread were not to get any kind of feedback on the G25....but because the G25 is a reality (at least in sedan form), it does pertain to the discussion. I also specifically wanted to see what the coupe owners would say because I thought it would be interesting to see how many people would say that they love the coupe's styling (among other aspects as well) and would be willing to purchase it even if were significantly less powerful.
And I hate to keep going back to the A5, but there are A5/S5 forums with plenty of members who own both the least and most powerful versions of the Audi A5. So don't make the mistake that it takes the most powerful engine available to attract enthusiasts to an Internet message forum.

I doubt many of those A5 posters haven't modded that 2.0t engine...

There are plenty of unmodded A5 2.0's running around. But still, that's not the point. Any car can be modded for more power, so it really doesn't matter.

We'll it simply price, they buy the 2.0T add 6K in mods to get the most bang for the buck and still come in lower then a S5 or even 3.2. May also be looks too, I personally like the A5's grille better.
Tunability of a G25 however will probably not offer the same comparison.
I wouldn't buy as heavy car as G37 coupe with 225hp, that is too low. It might be good for Mazda Miata but not for G. Look at BMW 135, small car with strong engine and that is where power/speed comes from! Also last 6 years I am driving cars with over 280hp and it is very tought to comeback. I would better buy sport motorcycle and ride
