Considering that all G37’s are stock when first delivered by a dealer, I don’t understand these frequent “stock for now” posts in this thread, with some listing the mods they intend to do. Speaking for stock owners, --Who cares?

IMO hijacking this thread by mod enthusiasts is inappropriate.

If you look at their post count or join date.... they are new to the forum.
And it does say, "How many G37 owners on this site, have their cars stock
So their G is stock when they posted... Let them post it and its a free bump so more stock members can see it~~

like I posted before I love stock G37 and modded G37.... sorry for hijacking this thread. ^^

So do you think deleteing posts from anyone who has subsequently modded their car or has plans to mod their car is the appropriate action? What's your solution to keeping this tread mod free for the stock and proud crowd? I'm listening...

You'd have to ask Chekov how "stock" your car needs to be to qualify as stock enough to be posted in this thread. I truly don't know if there are degrees of "stockness".

No, I don’t believe that any posts should be deleted from this thread. But perhaps another post from you, similar to your #127 here, would be helpful. Now I understand that this forum is catered to mod devotees, and that some mod zealots cannot help themselves from announcing their mods in this thread. Even though this thread as originally started is not for them, they believe, rightfully so I guess, including the growing “stock for now” crowd, that they can post here. I can offer no solution other than my own calls to have them post in other threads that better serve that purpose.

As to the question of how “stock” a car needs to be to qualify, there is some leeway that can be taken, but I don’t really want to get into that debate. Mods can range from a major engine add-on to re-assigning a radio preset. However, I will say that window tint IS a mod, so obg376mt’s car is no longer stock on that mod alone.

OK, you heard the man. Don't post in this thread unless your car is bone stock. Period. If it's stock but you plan to mod, don't mention it here. Just post that you own a stock G37 and that's all. If you plan on modding, or you mod later post it somewhere else. This is a haven for stock G37 owners ONLY.

I have spoken.
