g37x.. got it!

hey guys,
so i finally got my g37x, bought it new with OB exterior and black interior. i think it's too hot. literally.
especially now in jersey every other day is in the 80s and keeping it parked outside during school for 8 hours a day really gets it hot. almost unbearable, but hey the girls give a nice stare when they hear it come down the street
worst part is that some douche, (wouldnt just say that unless he really finds pleasure in harassing others, which he does) bought an 09 g37x same color exterior and interior as mine :/ and now he is talking crap about how I copied him..
o now my mission is to get the upper hand on him. either in looks or straight up performance. although i dont want to void my nice warrantee. its a tough choice.
i was wondering if any of you all of the forum have any suggestions? any quick mods to give it a custom look or make it a tad faster than stock? i have about $500 bucks saved up but like i said i dont really want to kill the warrantee unless its a must. i was looking at the 180custom headlights, i think those look awesome.. any one can speak from experience?

Congratulations on the new G!, but sorry for your competition problem. Sadly, $500 only goes so far to separate your G from the other guy's. I like your idea of Ironman lights, but think it might be a tad too expensive even if you do the headlight removal/installs yourself.

Another idea is tinted windows, and it really can change the look of your car. Besides darkness (light) tinting, there is also tint materials with better thermal properties which would also help with your "hot" issue. I'm sure you'll get some other great ideas as well.

yeah well i make about a hundred or so a week to put towards the car lol and yeah tints were something i had in mind. i live in nj and want to keep it legal, so i cant have tints on front driver or passenger windows.. on my old sedan it didnt look to bad but idk how much it would do on a coupe ya know? also thinking about debadging sometime soon but want something that definitely sets it apart. any sub 1k mods out there that might appeal to a young driver? with summer coming along, im going to be able to get a lot more hours in so money wont be a huge deal, its more on keeping the warrantee. lol

Save your cash for better mods and load your car with the girls. Way better than any mod you can afford right now! Have them wave at the douche as you drive by!

I got mine from same place 4 month ago, congrads. They are normally over stock with X and giving you much better price. Not sure why
For initial mods I would suggest splashers and better/wider summer tires, that is what I did.

Congrats on the new car and don't worry about the other guy. Just save some more money and then start modding.
