2008 G Coupe Driver Side Window Leak
Ever since I purchased my G37S Coupe back in 2008, the rubber seal on my driver's side window leaks. Water drips straight into my tweeter and the 'middle' speaker on the door. I've returned my car roughly 12-15 times over the years to get it fixed. While my dealer does a great job, many time it will leak the same day I pick it up from Infiniti. They've replaced the seal several times over and they even 'raised the window' so that when it rolls up it rolls a tab bid higher than normal for a tighter fit.
Has anyone had any issues with the rubber seals leaving way for water leaking into the car & speakers?
Many thanks,
Lee B.

I personally just had this addressed on mine. One thing to be mindful of is that as soon as you open the door, any water near that area will roll down.
Are you opening the door to see if water drips? As soon as you open the door, water will go down. The best way to tell if it actually leaks is to sit in the car while a friend puts a hose to it.
I noticed on the dealer lot that some windows seem to be angled differently or go up a tad bit more across all of their coupes. From the outside, you shouldn't be able to see any openings between the top of the seal on the A pillar and the window. I had a small crack right there because the window wasn't going up all the way or wasn't angled correctly. Water can get in through here and eventually make its way inside.

Your dealer is stupid. I had that happen to both of my doors on my '08, at different times. All they had to do was adjust the angle that the window goes up at. Mine was sealing in the back perfectly, but leaving a gap up front. So they had to reset the final stop and get the front of the window to go up more. Had it fixed over a year ago and never had to deal with it again.
I'm dropping mine of to Tustin, CA tomorrow to replace the BCM and check on the water leak. I'm also having them check the black trim on the outside of the sunroof. It seems like there excesive minor cracks on it.
I will definately ask them about tangle of the window.

It seem sickness of this car since 07 model, yes mine 09 coupe also leaks same place in heavy rain and both windows. It got adjusted by dealer and seem better in mid level rain, will see what happen in heavy ... One thing I am sure - that is my last Infiniti if they can't address this since 07.

So I mentioned about the angle adjustments to the dealer. Don't know if they adjusted it or not, but they replaced the entire weather strip around the window/door frame. Not sure if that fixed the issue, we'll see when I go through a car wash or when it rains.
I took mine in today and the dealer rep said he'd never heard of such a problem, but then informed me that if they had to remove the windows, and no defect was found, then the cost would be mine. What a dolt! He said the policy was that water coming down from above was all the car was required to endure. Water pressure coming in from the sides wasn't considered a problem. I asked him if that was the case, was I no longer able to take it through a car wash? They have my car right now, and if they can't or won't fix this problem, then I'm filing a complaint somewhere.

Go to another dealer, that one seem typical scam place. Unfortunatly 80% of them are same like this one
You could complain, found contact on Infiniti site. However that wouldn't change much.
I had the same problem, they told me its normal as the window has only a seal in the inside of the car, not the door and inside/outside etc. She showed me 3 cars when it was raining, all did the same thing, not if somebody is telling me is can be corrected , i would like to know! !

Come to think of it, I'd like to go up to the dealer with my yet-to-be filled out customer satisfaction survey and let them see me write that "I don't feel its a good selling point the fact that water leaks are considered normal in Infiniti cars..."
