1st Mod, does this count?

Ha, ok I HATE this antenna. Everytime I walk past the car I slap it and go Boing oing oing oing. (kids think it's funny) So I was going to just put a cover on it but I like listening to baseball on the a.m. radio (yes I know the xm has it too, call me traditional). So, here's my solution until Infiniti gets their head out of their rears and gets the spoiler made.

I also went and bought a bunch of LED lights from V-LED. Going to try to put them in over the next week or so. Haven't touched the engine yet, probably won't either. It's good enough for the daily grind. I'm also thinking about getting these wheels

in crystal silver. I saw them once on a IS350 and I had to admit, they were extremely nice without looking flashy/ricey. What do you guys think?
I saw the post on the interior ambient lighting thing. Not sure about that. I checked a bunch of other cars (LS/E55/M6/S series) and they didn't have any lights down at the pedal. I do think it would look nice though. Anyways, I'm all ears if you have any other ideas. Keep in mind I'm trying to keep this car tame. I definitely want to get rid of that damn orange strip in the light but don't want to remove headlamps and send it somewhere.

The rims looks good. I'm just not feeling the bullet though although it is shorter.

The ambient light looks really nice, I added it and despite it's over priced tag, it's worth it IMHO. I also added the illuminated sills as well. Again, they look great but are over priced as well (isn't everything?).

What antenna? My 08, Journey with premium doesn't have a normal antenna. I assume it's built into the glass somewhere. oh, maybe because it's a convertible.

What do you mean about the Spoiler? I just got one. I ordered it from Sewell, showed back-ordered for about 3 days then got shipping notice. Got it in less that 2 weeks from order time, w/o camera. Haven't installed yet.

Have that, thought it was for XM only and that AM/FM was in the glass somewhere. Thanks for the info.

Maybe it is but I'm not for sure on the vert. All I know for a fact is my coupe only has this little piece on the roof near the sunroof.

Nah the convert has this awful antenna on the trunk. It's rubbery so it bends back and forth and looks terrible. The spoiler has been on back order for 6 months and supposedly is coming out next month. Something about quality control. Your cars don't need an antenna because it is probably built into the glass of the back. The vert doesn't get that although I don't know why they couldn't put it in there. Anyways, with the spoiler, you lose the antenna because the FM/AM antenna is in the spoiler. Wish I could see that ambient light thing live. I'd do it if it really looks good. Hell, I might just do it for the hell of it anyways. New question: Does anyone know how to have the map default to full screen all the time? I like seeing the whole map but hate hitting the map button everytime I get into the car.

I tried to take pics of my ambient light but my digital camera only has a 4 sec max exposure time and it's not enough to get a good (or even half way decent) picture. I would think with the convertible, top down on a summer night the light kit would be even sexier.

They antenna could go in the window no problem, but it is wire connected,
and the way the roof splits to fold into the back is a problem for wires.

I think the antenna is on the trunk because when the top is down, the rear window would be in the trunk and reception would be poor. The antenna is in the back glass for the coupes.

ding ding ding.

The vert doesnt have the antenna in the back window simply and only due to the fact that when the top is down you wont have any reception.
