Wish I got the coupe. Wait for next update?

Is this just buyers remorse?

When I bought the 2010 g37x sedan I was convinced I was making the right choice.
The sedan was luxurious, super smooth and just what I was looking for in a luxury car.

But after having gone through the break in period. I totally got bit by the performance bug. The sedan is fast and mean for a sedan.

But I wish I got the coupe cause that fast and mean performance would be so much better, throatier and loads sexier.

I asked to trade it for the coupe but the dealership said the hit would be 6-10 thousand.

Should I just save up and wait for the next coupe update?
Will I lose that same amount of money in a couple years or will I lose even more money If I wait?

sorry to hear...I definitely understand wanting the coupe cause I love mine so much!!

If you are going to for sure switch to a coupe, you'll lose more money if you wait IMO. Because the value of your sedan will depreciate faster than any savings you might get by waiting.

If you really want to switch the best thing to do would be to sell your sedan privately then buy the coupe seperately. If you get a good enough deal on both sales you might not lose too much...

the coupe is slower, has horrible back seats, has almost no trunk space and is pricier. are you SURE you wanna switch?

Damn you sedan guys are harsh on the coupe. lol

Just get a few mods, maybe some wheels and drop or an exhaust and maybe you'll like it more. A few tasteful mods can make the sedan look really sexy.

I looked into that but there doesnt seem to be any mods for the AWD.

I couldnt find any drop kits for the awd.

Staggered wheels are not good for awd.

ETC...

Assuming that they both have the same MSRP, you're looking at bout 5K, imo. The problem is that the coupe is about 3K more than the sedan w/ same options.

...may be you can swap w/ my 6 months old '09 coupe.

not that it really matters, but the speed difference is negligible, the back seats are fine for when you need them, and what it really comes down to it if you are looking for tons of space then the coupe isnt for you from the start

everyone has the car that suits them, and for me I couldn't even begin to see myself in a sedan, but for the guys I know that have them, it fits them perfectly

I'm pretty sure springs will fit it just fine. Coilovers are what have problems. And actually there's a member who was successfully gotten staggered wheels on is X coupe. Intakes and stuff fit just fine too. You can get exhausts to fit with just a few simple modifications that any decent exuast shop can do.

There's plenty to do, you just have to be a little more creative about how you do it.

The sedan is a hot car; it was initially what I thought I was going to get. Then I saw the coupe and I fell in love. Totally glad that I got the coupe. She's just so sexy.
