Wish I got the coupe. Wait for next update?
^^^ Yea, A fat lip... Like it got punched in the mouth!! The standard "S" bumper is much sexier. The only upside (if you're into it) is the possibility for a Bright red leather interior and about the same sticker price as a convertible because it's quote - unquote "Limited Edition". Definitely not worth the money IMO, but maybe the OP thinks the changes are worth it, just my $.02
Is this just buyers remorse?
When I bought the 2010 g37x sedan I was convinced I was making the right choice.
The sedan was luxurious, super smooth and just what I was looking for in a luxury car.
But after having gone through the break in period. I totally got bit by the performance bug. The sedan is fast and mean for a sedan.
But I wish I got the coupe cause that fast and mean performance would be so much better, throatier and loads sexier.
I asked to trade it for the coupe but the dealership said the hit would be 6-10 thousand.
Should I just save up and wait for the next coupe update?
Will I lose that same amount of money in a couple years or will I lose even more money If I wait?

I think a drop and wheels may help it feel sportier?
But I cant find any options to lower the AWD and I'm afraid to put staggered rims on an AWD.

I wouldn't go to the coupe over the sedan for performance - esthetics perhaps but not performance. You won't see a big gain on any metric. The price difference though is close to a forced induction system that you could add to the sedan that would make a big performance gain. The coupe is very attractive though and you can spiff it up with cosmetic mods like iron-man lights, custom grills, etc. But it will drive basically like your sedan though. Also, are you certain you want to go from awd to rwd? There is a weight penalty but poor weather performance is improved.
If you are looking for a larger performance gain, Audi S4 and BMW 335 with similar starting horsepower can both be software upgraded to increase the boost and gain lots of horsepower - same with the subaru wrx impreza.

The staggered wheel on an awd set-up has been talked about several times on this site, but no one's presented any definitive proof from Infiniti that it is acceptable, although BMW offers staggered wheels as an option on their 335i as a vote of confidence for using staggered wheels. One very reputable shop explained it to me like this he said, "It doesn't matter how wide the tires are in the rear it could be a 3 foot wide tires as long as the rolling diameters are the same or a very close match in the front and back" he also went on to say by putting a wider tire in the rear you will be sacrificing the cars handling a little... But lets face it the G37x awd is slow so do you really care about it handling like it was on "rails"?
A lot of opinions (including my Infiniti mechanic) say that it's the wheel/tire diameter (height) that matters most to an awd system, but opinions also exist to the contrary. It all boils down to who you trust, and how badly you want your G to look nice. Do some more research and come to your own conclusions.

Well thank you all for the advice. I decided to trade in. I pick up my new coupe sometime soon.
I went back to the dealership where I first bought. They could only give me a deal where I lost 6 k in the end.
I then went to a different dealer. I got the loss down to 3,500.
In the end I figured if I bought wheels and tires for the sedan to make it as sexy I would pay around 3k anyway.
So I broke down and went for the coupe for looks and pure sex.
