Battery and Fuel Induction question

Hey guys,

Just wondering... if the dealer tells me that the battery isn't holding charge at the ideal level (just below) and the fuel induction system needs servicing. Are these something I have to do or is this another tactic to get money from out of my wallet?

Thanks,
J

Carbon build up in the fuel induction system.

Battery survived the winter without a hitch. How do we know when we have to change it?

This isn't for my G37 btw, it's for my fiance's Lexus RX330 but I didn't know where to post this and get sufficient help.

Did you look into fuel injector cleaners?
