Took my car couple weeks ago in for service for the buzzing noise coming from top of the dash. well they couldnt get it to make the noise while driving as they claimed, also there is weird noise I have, when any elecronics are engaged (window, steering wheel, clutch), whatever. they had to bring a specialist and he compared my car with one of the new ones from the lot, and told me the noise is normal.
my car at the dealer for a week and nothing solved.
I ended up just doing a balance of four wheels and tires since I was getting vibration, paid $100 for one time balance, which I drove to canada, and it is alot better but not perfect.
on top of all that, the day (day after I dropped of the loaner car), they called me and told me there are damages to the front grille of the loaner as if someone backed up into it.
They are trying to have my insurance pay for it, for damages I did not cause.
any suggestions? this was the worse service I have ever had.(no problems solved paid $100, and now in it for the loaner car damages)

I don't understand your electronics engaged comment. Not sure what that means.
If you had to balance your tires, that's part of owning/maintaining a car. I'm not sure how old your car is, but unless it's something in the first 10,000 miles it's normal maintenance. You can lose a wheel weight or have a bent rim from a pothole.
As far as damage...it's their problem. Tell them to use their insurance because they had the car in their procession. I had a car broken into on a lot and they argued tooth and nail about using their insurance, in the end they paid.
For the loaner issue, once you leave the car at the dealership, you assume no more responsibility. They are supposed to go over the loaner with you before you take it and go over it before you return the car. If they failed to do that, then your free to go. They cant prove the car was damaged by you at that point.
Beer Magazine, The Techs out here do drive the car. they take it on a freeway close by which has really crappy sruface, but anyways, my main concern was the loaner car, and it seems like they cant do much. thanks guys
Oh I read that wrong. The loaner car was damaged...Well I think you do sign an agreement. You can just say it was fine when you dropped it off and let them try to get anything from you...that's what they would do.
So after a while, now i got a letter a few days ago that they repaired the damages, and I am responsible for $921, if I dont pay in 10 days, they will send it to collection agency, I dont understand how they can do that on something that was never proven. also they send me the check in check out form, its funny since i signed it when it was not damaged and after they checked it in and found damages since i wasnt there, i have not signed anything, so what are they trying to prove here. besides the car was driven 200 miles at the check in. which at the most i drove the car about 50 miles. What kind of lawyer would i seek for this kind of issue?

I would first go talk to the service manager and ask them to provide proof that the damage occured under your watch. If he/she really can't but is insistant you pay, go speak with the sales manager (I assume you bought your car there). Be nice, be respectful and simply say it did not happen while you were in posession, etc. and that you are very disapointed and will not be back to buy a car from them again. Then kindly say well I'm sorry but I need to take action legally to protect my credit and I will be obtaining a lawyer and if the judgement is found in my favor I will be seeking lawyer reimburshment costs as well.
Now ... If you signed a paper as to the condition of the car and damage was not noted but when you came back and signed again and damage was documented, I don't see where you have a case.

When I drop it off I always ask a service advisor to walk around the car with me and to sign off on the loaner document that the car was return undamaged. I've heard too many horror stories where dealers have gone after people who booked loaners for damage that wasn't caused by them.
