Just do it and return it to stock when the lease is up. If you intend on purchasing the car afterwards then it really doesn't matter either. I bought mine straight out because I knew I would mod from day 1.

did you sign a contract to say you'll have to bring back for service? if not you can do oil change, break pad change, etc all by yourself

They are not going to throw a fit because you lower and added an exhaust. You could always talk to sales guy and find out his opinion on it too. I'm pretty sure you'll be just fine.

They dont say anything if your car is modded and you take it to service. I have buddies that lease and do some modding. The people at service cant really do anything. They dont really care unless of course a mod of yours damages the car. i.e an intake you have on causes hydrolock - pretty sure you'd be assed out there.

I leased mines as well and I feel the same way you do. I wish I could do some heavy mods but I cant do what I want to the car. I did purchase an exhaust from someone on here though and looking to buy a grill so I can paint it aswell! Just gonna do some minor stuff

with that being said.. Drop the car and buy an exhaust!!

My car is also leased and i have exhaust, drop, intakes, sway bars, grounding kit, etc. the dealer doesn't seem to have any problem as long as something i've added doesn't lead to a problem with the car. As long as your willing to take responsibility for something that might happen from an aftermarket add on then go for it.

I leased my 08' and I have 72000 miles on it I really wish I didn't lease it, it's up this may and I'm going to be upside down unless I buy it out (I'm only good for 45000 in 3 years)

Contact IFS. I believe they sometimes waive mileage overages if you lease a new Infiniti.
