45km = ~ 28 miles. imo, I think it's good if it's less than 40 miles.

In your case, not an issue given that it has less than 50km.

It is a good idea to put it on the sales offer as a condition of sales that the car must have fewer than x mile on it so that there is no misunderstanding. Also the transaction must be completed before a given date so that you can back out if the dealer couldn't fulfill their commitment.

Well yes i ordered it from the factory and have the deposit on it, i havent paid full price for it yet (im buying it not leasing). So basically 45.3 km is no big deal? because recently my mother bought an Ex35 and it had 8km on it... Do you think i should just inquire why there are so many km on it? are they legally able to lie about something like that :S. Maybe im blowing this way outta proportion.

if you asked the dealer about the miles, they would probably make something up. the mileage on the car wouldnt be a deal breaker for me but I might use it as leverage for some freebies.

That's the high end of what I'd accept if you didn't prearrange anything, although I would ask offhand "Oh, so did you guys have it driven over from another dealership?" just out of the blue and see how they react too.. I'd just let them know what you said her, your mom's car had a lot less kilometers on it and do use it for at least light leverage. Be polite but firm.
