Am I completely insane?
Am I completely insane?
So I sold my G in September I really wanted a 335 coupe. There were none in stick, so I settled on a steptronic, I convinced myself it was great for a while, but the truth is I miss driving stick.I didn't want to spend 900 a month on a car payment, so I got a great deal on a lease. I have sense put it on swap a lease and found someone to take it from me, I am just waiting for approval. So now I am deciding weather or not to just get another new 335coupe in stick which i LOOOOOOVE but very expensive, pick up an 09 A5 coupe in stick for a great deal or really steal a 2009 G coupe 6MT. It would be a lot less then I was paying for my old one.
If i were to get another G possibly in the same color, but brand new and cheaper( FYI needed new tires on my old one) would I be completely insane?

if you love the 335i in stick, go with that. honestly your just going to get bored of the G again like your first one and you'll be back at square one.
If it was me, id go for a 335i 6mt, in white.

+1 if you sold your G because you got bored of it, why buy it again? I'd dish out a little extra for the 335.
With all the problems the 335 has regardless of the year?!

I say stick with the G and look into a GTM TT kit (if you have the funds) if you want more fun and speed. I really liked the 335 but all the horror stories regarding the HPFP and turbos failing prematurely kept me FAR away. If there were (affordable) aftermarket replacements for both of those then buying the 335 would be a no-brainer.

I would trade my MW g37s coupe for a white 335 coupe in a heart beat. If you dont want to spend too much money on monthly payment I suggest you should just wait till you have more down payment. I waited 6 months to get the car i wanted and it was so worth the wait.

we should be friends, haha. i would trade my car for a white 335i in a heartbeat too. id actually go for a sedan (e90).
You can get a brand new 09 6MT right now at about 4,500 below invoice without even negotiating very hard, probably 5K below if you spend a few hours. 900/month sounds crazy bro, but if you're not going to love the car the deal ain't worth it.
White is actually one of my few choices, its an Mtech. But I think ill probably lease, after getting out of my current 335 I see how badly and quickly the depreciate , unlike the G.
I'd deal on a new 2009 G, hold it for a couple of years until the factory puts turbos on the G, and then trade it in.
Yes, I know... the factory boys told us Z owners at a meeting in 1973-4 that Z's would NEVER EVER have turbos, because they are just too complicated. (There were two Crown Turbo'd Z's in the parking lot at the time.
) I would be surprised if there isn't a T / TT G by 2012. But, I digress.

I find that a little hard to believe, maybe you mean MSRP?
