Hello all! Well I have never been much of a car guy... I have been driving Jeep Wranglers for 10 years because I am so outdoorsy, but I totaled my Jeep on Labor day after being hit head on by a driver who fell asleep at the wheel and I decided to get my first sports car and after test driving several audis and bmws I bought the black 2009 G37X and couldn't be happier I had to settle for the X because where I live, AWD is essential. Being new to the car world I was wondering if it is even worth modding it up and how limited am I being that I have an automatic transmission? Granted I usually use the tiptronic and shift around 4900 RPMs.

Welcome and congrats. I'm also a former Wrangler driver and a Jersey boy. By the way, you didn't settle by getting an X!

This helps! I almost feel like I really limited myself with the X, but as I search this site more and performance catalogs, I am noticing there is a lot I can do

Route 80...yuck. The only thing worse that Route 80 is Route 287.

Yea, I have to take that for a few miles too. I prefer 287 right now, at least the pavement is flat and I don't have to worry about rocks getting kicked up by the 18 wheelers in front of me. 287 down your way is atrocious though!

Flemington...I checked EVERYBODY in the area all the way down to Philly and out to Jersey and Flemington was the best to work with.

Ha you guys complain about 80 and 287...how about 78? I hate that road. It's optional for me to take it to work so I always defer that option.

*cringe* I hateeeee 78! I take that road on the way to Cabellas in Hamburg.

I used Douglass Infiniti in Summit NJ, they were great! I originally made a deal for a liquid platinum G37X with Ramsey Infiniti and left a couple of thousand down and then they went from having the car and me being able to get it in 4 days, to not having the car and it is technically another dealers, to they can't give me a status. I had some choice words for the salesman and took my business elsewhere. It worked out in the end, I like the black on black a lot more!

Never use Ramsey Infiniti DOMO
