car looks nice...IMO, if it were mine id have the black stripe into the gloss black grill with carbon emblem and edges of CF hood gloss black............would look uniform but stick out at the same time........very nice wheels tho.........

I know I am in the minority here, don't like blacked out wheels. IMHO looks to much like a wheel loaded with brake dust. Guess I'm old school.

theyre not blacked out. theyre carbon fiber. so what is it you like, shiny chrome wheels or stocks? lol. for each his own. thats the first time i hear some1 comparing carbon fiber to brake dust. i guess ppl like putting brake dust looking hoods, trunks, spoilers and what not in and out of the cars lmao. and under the hood if he obviously doesnt have a turbo yet, theres really only another option plus swapping a few things out for lighter and better parts?

thanks for the thoughts lakeshoreg..... i love how u have the headlights in white with the blacked out reflector, looks really clean! do they really make a brake dust, i mean carbon fiber emblem for the grill???? Let me know, thats a sick idea

Relax, yes I know they are "carbon fiber" but they are dark, no I don't like shiny chrome but I do like the stock rims. I find so many of these cars end up looking like someone watched Fast & Furious way too many times. The G is a gorgeous stock looking vehicle, frankly IMHO (remember I said opinion) it doesn't need much or it starts looking tacky.
sounds great! lol. no but really if they make cf emblems let me know where to get em......

I was merely stating that in my opinion, black rims don't look good. They remind me (and we have all seen it, often Mercedes drivers) wheels that have never been cleaned and are riddled with black dust to the point of the rims being totally gray/black. Sort of wearing black socks with sandals. If you like dark/black rims ... have at it, it's a free country. I won't attack you for it; I may just not share your love for the look. Sorry, I won't offer opinion anymore
