Hi, i'm new to the forum but has been browsing since a while ago.
I've got the chance to at last get my hands on a nissan skyline coupe(JDM version of G37 since i'm in asia).
Just wondering if theres a major difference in the navi system, since if i get it from Japan, it will be in japanese, any idea if i could programme it into english?
And what do you guys think abt OB with the brown interior? since i'll be getting a type Sp, i will be getting the wooden interior. I've been confused as to get the brown or black leather interior. so, what would be your choice if you were to choose?
and i'll be waiting for a 2010 model, so probably getting my hands on the car in feb.

 

get the brown leather and ill switch with my black leather =0) u can have real USDM setup!!! lol.

 

haha good one... its funny how ppl from states wanna go JDM and ppl from Japan and asia wanna go USDM. i guess the grass is always greener on the other side.
but yea, i'm really stuck between the 2 colours.

I don't think you will be able to, I believe your Nav is on a CD unlike in the US, it's in their hard disk.

 

I know my NAV wont work in my country, at least not stock, i gotta modify or re programme it a little. But this is the quote i got from Japan about the NAV, since its an option.

yea i am getting that option Sam, thanks a lot, one last help, for the interior, i dun see a lotta people or pics i've serached that have people doing that on an OB.
is it not an option in the states, or is it just hideous that no one chooses that interior?

Brown's not an option here in the US. We have wheat (light beige), stone (grey) or graphite (black) for interior colors (AFAIK.)

 

oo i see... thats why i dun see any brown interiors.... we've only got black or brown. standard comes in black leather for the type sp, but for another 100,000yen, i can get the brown. not sure if its just a marketing issue.
