It looks like Europe is getting a revised G. Sorry if this post is in the wrong section.. Link Below:

Basically, they've made G37s in Europe Grandma-Friendly
I thought they weren't that aggressive (stock wise at least) OEM anyways especially when in D, can't believe they've even made it more boring now.
Other additions make sense though

from living in Europe for over 8 years that the European
consumer demands a much more refined machine than we
Americans either expect, demand, or sometimes appreciate.
They aren't posers like us...when they want a fast performance
car they get one, and to them it's not a Infiniti (sorry guys)
Just look at the manufacturers they have to choose from
for true luxary and performance....Maybach, Bugati, Jaguars
BMWs, Lotus, etc etc etc and I haven't even got to Italy
yet...LOL But you are right about one thing....Infinities are
what their grandmas drive in Europe. Does that tell you
anything?
but I spend alot of time there and quite honestly you see many
more $100,000+ cars in Europe that are everyday dirivers than
you see in any American city in a year. Sorry If I struck a sensitive
nerve with you.....remember that I drive one too. But Infiniti's are
just considered a nice comfortable car with pretty good performance
over there, as compared to the US, where most of the oweners
think they "have arrived", and most everyone else either don't
care or don't even know what an Infiniti is. Take it or leave it.

well you also need to know that the uk only has one infiniti dealer right now in leeds with others slated to open in 2009-2011. that also could be a reason hy you see less of them.
Jon is right. The UK is an entirely different atmosphere when it comes to cars. BMW's and Benz's are to the UK as Fords and Chevy's are to us. Even their hauling trucks are Benz's.
However, the price tag is much cheaper as well since you do not have to import.

No nerve struck. By no means do I think Infiniti competes with Maybach, Bugatti, Jaguar, or Lotus and wouldn't have gone into comparing them as you have. I don't think it was Infiniti's plan to compete with exotic builders. More so, they probably wish to do what they and Lexus have done here in America--build a quality car that expects to compete with the likes of Mercedes and BMW.
The only problem I had with your post was your sweeping generalizations about American car enthusiasts. I doubt we are all "posers" and hope that we can understand the difference between an Infiniti G and a Bugatti Veyron. Yes, the auto industry in Europe is different than it is here. It doesn't mean a lot of European cars aren't overpriced garbage. It also doesn't mean that Infiniti can't become a respectable nameplate in Europe as Lexus has begun to do.

I have not seen 1 G37 in Italy yet lol. The few G35's I have seen are American owned. See the occasional 350z though. As far as european drivers go. . . well lets not get on that can of worms.
While I understand "our American perspecitive" I can tell you
