To start with, I would want to start with a Rear Valence, a Black Top, Tints, or new lights/overlays for the lights

What do you think?

That would be good. Hit up Blue Bat for all the overlays/valence needs. I say get a drop as well.

Not bad!

I got my G37S 6MT sport package & Premium package(rear tail, splash guards, kick pates) for $36,000 with tax was about $40,000+. My car was listed at $41,500.

Trick to buying a car: Get the loan from your bank or elsewhere not the dealership. Then walk in and tell them your buying it cash with $5,000 down and they will bend big time. I also get superb service and discounts being car is paid off according to dealership.

Hey, folks! I've lurked around here for a while but just became an owner this past Friday: Moonlight White S 6MT with Premium, Navigation, illuminated kick plates, splash guards, spoiler, and trunk mat.

I've driven a manual shift car for 40 years. The high clutch engagement on the G37 was weird for the first few minutes, but I've adapted to it. This is a terrific car! My previous car was a 3.0 BMW Z3 with handling package and I was a bit worried that the G37 would feel cumbersome after the smaller, lighter Z3. Although it's noticeably bigger, the G37 isn't cumbersome at all. I'm treating it very gently until it gets more miles on it and I'm more familiar with its limitations but so far, it's a pretty nimble ride.

I've owned sports cars since '72. I had one previous foray into the sports coupe arena as my primary car (a 1978 VW Scirocco) that I seriously regretted. My wife has had a 3-series BMW (2.8 liter 325) and Maxima (both manual transmissions) that didn't impress all that much. The Maxima was nicely appointed but didn't have much power or handling. The BMW handled well but was underpowered and lacked amenities in the extreme. Even the Z3 was pretty light on the little niceties. My wife's last two cars have been Subaru Outbacks -- great cars for what they're supposed to do, but not what I'd want as my daily drive. the G37, so far, is thoroughly satisfying. I'm not someone who raves about every new car. I've had others that were an acceptable compromise for the circumstances but that had clear limitations. For where I am right now, the G37 suits me extremely well. It's not as quick as my twin-turbo RX-7 was but it's a lot roomier and better appointed. It has enough power for its mass and, despite the latter, has crisp, nimble handling. I'm a happy shopper at this early stage of my Infiniti experience and I hope that continues.

I'm in North Carolina, by the way. Although Crossroads Infiniti is my nearest dealership, I ended up going with Modern Infiniti in Greensboro based both on price (a substantially better deal on the exact same car, brought in from a dealership in Georgia) but also on their responsiveness and low-key, service-oriented approach to the whole transaction.

Sorry for rambling on. As most of you will understand, I'm petty pumped about this car and I guess I'm having a tough time containing my enthusiasm.
