I didnt start my car for 4 days and the battery died....then a second time this year I left it alone for 3 days and the battery died. I am going out of town this weekend, however I am going to disconnect my radar detector (even though it was off both the times) just to rule out that as the drain source, if it still dies this time theres something wrong with this car. I saw another thread where lots of ppl had problems with the battery dying when left alone for a few days.

i went to Hawaii for 7 days and came back, pushed that Start button once and bam - as if i had just shut it off yesterday, soooo its probably something with your battery dude. i would actually ask the dealership to take a look at the issue maybe make a video before you try and start it after your trip back and show them, good luck.

I think its the fob

I had this happen to me not long ago. I've the had the car 18 mos now and it has never happened before. The only thing different this time was that my key was left in the car. I think if this keyless fob is anywhere near the car and the car is not on or going to be turned on, the car will go dead talking to your keyless fob. It has never done it since. Perhaps if you hang your keys up near the car in the garage or keep an extra set in the car, this could happen. I'm sure this was the problem. Check it!

Anyways, I have an 07 Sedan I bought back in end of March, 2007 and got a replacement battery (dealership charged prorated battery cost which came out to about 35 bux) about 2 months ago. This means my battery went bad within only first two years.

Every Summer (this is the 3rd Summer), I had issues with the battery discharging for some reason... and I got tired of the same issue to just took it up to my dealership for solution.

Take to the dealer to have battery tested. I see it all the time, car sales guys are too dumb to make sure the ignition is completely off. Especially our push button start vehicles and kill the battery over and over before delivery and cause a bad cell. If battery is good and you are not by chance leaving it in accessory mode. A good tech should be able to find any unusual amp draw and fix you up. Good luck.

something similar happen to me, left my ignition button on ON, so when I came back 8 hours later my battery was dead. They told me at the dealership this was a very common mistake.

Weird, not sure if we get the same batteries in the gulf spec Gs or not but I left the G for two months and came back, started her and after a little cough, she was roaring like a beast in the garage haha

Well what do you know, left it alone for 3-4 days without starting then tried it this Tuesday. It was very weak and just barely turned over. I let it run for 5 minutes and tried today after 4 days again. and guess what, its dead again. This is the 3rd time its happened to me and the only thing I have in common is that I didnt start it for 3-4 days. This time I even disconnected my RD to make sure it wasnt the culprit. And no I didnt leave the keyfob in there either.

Dude, somehow I think a cat got inside ur engine and is jacking all the heat from the battery to keep himself warm. Hahahaha. J/K.

Back to the dealer it is then man. Tell em, "what the hell is wrong with my car", and see if that works.

I never mentioned this problem to the dealer, cuz quite frankly I have never had to not drive this car for more than 4 days till a few months earlier. The first time I thought it was cuz I left something on, but the 2nd and 3rd time I am sure this car has a battery drain somewhere. I dunno if I am even going to bother to try explaining this to the dealer, its going to be a lot more work. I guess good thing that I have a jump starting kit at home, I guess I will just have to disconnect the battery everytime I go out of town =/
