Tanabe USA Wants to Know...

Hello Everyone,

Last June, we held an R&D Session at our Torrance, California location to test brand new parts for aftermarket tuning.
http://www.tanabe-usa.com/rndnews.asp

Our next R&D Session is coming soon, and we'd like to know what suspension, chassis, and exhaust parts you'd be interestd in seeing for future productions.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with us, Tanabe is a longtime manufacturer of springs, coilovers, exhaust systems, and chassis bracing for Japanese cars.

That said, what parts would you guys be interested in seeing in the future? The application doesn't have to be specific to the chassis of this forum btw.

A cat back exhaust for the G37 coupe and I'm all over it. I had the Medallion touring for a while and it was slightly too loud for me. But now I wish I had it back.

More under body bracing like a 4 point or 6 point brace.

I would like to see Strut Bars and aftermarket Shocks for people who do not want to get coilover and just springs.

Mid-pipe for the Infiniti G37! Lots of individuals have sent inquiries to Tanabe directly about one.

1) A front strut bar that doesn't scrap the hood.
2) Aftermarket shocks, since no one makes them unless you go coilover.

We appreciate the input from everyone on the forum.

And it's true -- asking for direct input from the consumer is not typical of a major aftermarket manufacturer. But we believe that being PART of the community is much better than being above it. And we stand by those who own our products and those who enjoy high-quality 100% Real Made in Japan parts.

Just so you all know, we're taking ALL your well-thought responses into consideration.

I know this is probably a little farfetched, but why not headers? One's that actually make gains? (This will benefit both us G37s and 370Z's because so far, none have headers that actually yield hp gains yet) Maybe even long tube headers? Those yielded nice gains on the VQ35.

Otherwise, midpipes for the folks who already bought your mufflers.

Front strut bar also would be a great idea with better fitment and customized engine cover to go with it
