I made an appointment with the local dealer for 18month/15k mile service and I was quoted 60 dollars for the service.

My wife went to the dealer this morning to drop off my G37baby (not a lease, I own it) for service and she was asked to pay $359. I have not paid more than 60 dollars for each 6month service on my G37 so far.

I read the recommended infiniti maintenance schedule, and found that the 18month/15k mile service is not different from the other 6 month maintenance services.

Can you folks post your experience on the maintenance service costs for the 18month/15k mile service? I just want to know if this dealer is charging unreasonable amount or is it well within price range charged by other dealers.

 

You need to be more specific. What maintenance plan do you follow?

There is no 18 Month/15K service.

The 12 Month/15K service required In-Cabin filter change which as many have indicated is about $150+ due mainly to labor (behind the glove box). And assuming your $60 service was at 7500 miles, this service even for the Schedule 2 (with the fewest items) includes a bunch of inspection items which equates to additional labor time. It's all in the service and maintenance guide.

The 18 month service is at 22500 miles and is in fact just an oil change for the Schedule 2 which maybe what you were quoted since they thought you were at 22500 miles but if you never did a 15K service they did that one.

What does your service invoice actually say????
