Windshield is cracked and growing. HELP

Yea so I woke up on my birthday only to find my week and a half old G's windshield was cracked somehow. There is a little dent on the outside of the window and looks like something small hit it. The problem is it's growing and I need to get it fixed asap. The other problem is my cash flow is lacking. Can someone let me know where I can get a windshield, how much and how I should go about getting this fixed. I live in Southern Cali Westwood area. Thank You

wont your insurance company take care of this..... sounds like the damage is done and beyond repair.

Worst case your comprehensive insurance will cover it minus your deductible, and it won't affect your premiums since it's not collision related.

Insurance will take care of it.

OT but if your cash flow is off, why did you get an expensive car?

Some ***gots broke my windshield two weeks after i bought my car. It was the back one and it cause me $375. I dunno where your located but if its LA area try Five Star Auto Glass. They come to you and install right on the spot.

Just happened to me about 2 months ago. Rock hit my windshield on the freeway, and it started to grown over the next 2 days. By the next week, the crack covered my entire windshield passenger side to driver side.

Safelite Autoglass, came to my house and replaced the windshield for $320 (inc. tax).

Insurance claims will also depend on the cost of your deductible.

Well that's the prob with high deductables... If it's under a thousand... And most small acidents are... You pay! I'd get it fixed asap not only for saftey, but a cop will boost your bill with a ticket as well.

Wow, the price sure went down. When I priced a new windshield from Safelite in Mar 2008, they wanted $765.

Same thing happened with the wife's MDX. I waited a year to fix a crack, it was painful, and the price went down almost $500.
