How to keep the steering wheel from locking?

Does anyone know a way to keep the steering wheel from locking? I may be "flat towing" my G behind an RV.

There was a post on this same question about a month or so ago. The solution was to pull the fuse for the lock while it's unlocked. If I recall the fuse is in the block next to the battery. If you search I'm sure you'll find it.

I did search and came across that, but the title about the thread had something to do with the key fob. I was hoping to get a better answer with a better thread title

Why would you want the wheel unlocked during towing? Seems that would cause more issues then having it locked straight but then again iv never towed a car on the highway.
The manual has instructions for towing on page 6-11 but I dont recall anything about how to keep the wheel unlocked during towing.
Maybe leave the keys in the car and the ignition set to acc?

Imagine taking a sharp 90 degree turn without the wheels being able to freely turn from side to side. You'd basically be dragging the front of the car sideways. Not good for tires, among other things.
