Personally I think it's tacky to mimic the trademark of another brand on your own vehicle. It just looks like you're not happy with your car. Secondly - this just looks horrible on the G. Even the angel eyes look better than this - but for me angel eyes still violate my first point.

I've disabled the Arc Reactor on my own car for a while for a similar reason. I feel like the strip flows better with the line for our car and the design of the headlight shape. The circular pattern works for BMWs because their headlights are rectangular shaped and the circle fills from top to bottom. The LED strip on the bottom works for Audis because their headlight is also rectangular and are longer horizontally, so it makes sense to place something along the same axis horizontally. But ours is longer front-to-back. I think adding something lengthwise, like the side marker would accentuate the shape and keep the Infiniti G look & feel.
