hmm I dont know why majority of manual owners think they made a superior choice by choosing 6 speed. This thread seemed to be created to see who was auto or manual, not why manual is "better"

I would think a 6mt would more likely quicker than auto given that it would take off better with a good driver

 

This will be a skewed poll. Most car "enthusiasts" will drive a manual. I think I read somewhere if a manual is offered, about 10% of the cars manufactured for that model will be a manual. However, for sportier cars, it'll be closer to 1/3. Of course, for 'true' sports cars, it will approach or exceed 50%.

Anyway, I bought a 6MT.
