Wheres our glove compartment lock key?

Is it the key in our key fob? I've tried a few times, doesn't fit perfect, didn't want to force anything.

I thought your question was reasonable.

First, there’s a small ½” indented lever on the back of the fob. Flip it to the outside and pull the metal key out from the bottom of the fob. Second, the metal key does not fit all the way into the glove box keyway, but only around halfway. Turn the keyway a quarter turn clockwise with the metal key and the compartment will lock. The trunk lock rocker switch is on the upper right-hand area inside the glove box.

See guys, this is why Chekov is my friend. He brings sanity and knowledge to this rather insane forum

New keys in general usually don't fit smoothly, you gotta "break it in"...

But nonetheless, this thread is pretty epic. I mean, logic should prevail... why would there be another key for the glove box?

Ha ha ha. Yeah I got it. Didn't even think to turn the key because I felt it didn't go in properly. Thanks
